After taking some photos I decided to use the spare time to go to a local gym, which cost 30 euros for a day pass; so expensive!
Cooking Class
Around 11 am we walked to the cooking class. In the class, we learned a few different techniques for making pasta from scratch, by creating the dough with flour and eggs and then rolling it out using a rolling pin to make it flat before cutting it with a knife to create the pasta trips. We also used different cutters to make ravioli and tortellini. This was probably the most exciting cooking class I have ever done; in fact, it was more like a party. The chefs were very enthusiastic playing music as we rolled our pasta and popping bottles of prosecco to celebrate our pasta-making achievements.
The result was amazing. In the end, we ended up with a 3-course meal with ravioli, tortellini, carbonara, tiramisu, and a few glasses of red wine. The tiramisu was great, as it was a much lighter-than-normal recipe that was not too sweet.
In the afternoon we were feeling quite worn out from the cooking class and all the walking so we chilled out around the Trevi fountain.
Bravo, cooking class sounded like so much fun.
Yeah, very fun 🙂
