Day 13: Travelling to Berlin via Zurich

Today, we sadly left Switzerland to go to our next destination. We had a flight around 8PM from Zurich to Berlin, so we started the morning by taking a train out of Interlaken to Zurich. It was quite a scenic train trip as we went through the mountains and past one of the lakes that boarders Interlaken.

Spa in Zurich

When we arrived in Zurich, we walked to a spa that had a roof top pool. It was great to sit up there in the spa and take in the views of Zurich, especially since my body was quite sore from the gym and walking the previous day. Looking at the city from the rooftop pool and walking around gave me the impression that Zurich would be quite a nice city to live in, although everything was just so expensive.

Flying to Berlin

After the spa, we walked back to the train station to catch a train to the airport. At the airport I bought a bottle of water which cost $6.80 AUD, and a coffee which cost around $15 AUD. We flew to Berlin which took just over 1 hour. When we landed it was late in Berlin, so we just walked to our hotel. It was so cold outside, 0 degrees Celsius, and I was not dressed for the cold.
