Today we were scheduled to leave Berlin, traveling around 6 hours on the train to Amsterdam. Waiting at the train station was freezing as it was -2 degrees Celsius, and the platform was outside. Nothing noteworthy happened, I spent most of the train trip catching up on my blog writing and reading.
The scenery outside was interesting as we traversed the countryside occasionally passing patches of snow-covered fields. We saw the occasional wind farm fly past and a Volkswagen factory.
By the time we made it to Amsterdam, it was cold and dark outside, though not as cold as it had been in Berlin. So, after a short walk around the area surrounding our hotel exploring the city a little, we just went back to the hostel to read.
