Today my high school friends Trevor and Oliver, and I embarked on our trip to Europe. Trevor’s parent’s kindly drove us all to the airport arriving around 3am for the 6am Emirates flight to Rome via Dubai. In the first leg of the flight, we were in an A380 which was not very full allowing us to spread out quite a bit. I had an entire row to myself and was able to lie flat and sleep for parts of the journey.
After the first leg of the journey, we arrived at Dubai airport. We all had a beer at the airport which cost around $25 AUD each.
Sadly, for the second leg of the journey, we were not so lucky with the plane. Our plane was a Boeing 777 with much smaller seats and far more people. It was not a fun 7 hours.
When we arrived in Rome around 6PM local time, extremely tired, we caught the train to the city center before walking to our hotel room which is right next to Trevi Fountain.
We went to eat some pasta and take some quick photos at Trevi Fountain before heading to bed for the night.
