Lotte World Mall
After brunch, we headed to the Lotte World Mall where we spent quite a lot of time window shopping. I was still a little hungry, so we went to a store and bought a waffle chicken, basically just a savoury waffle with some fried chicken in the middle. After this we continued to walk around the mall which was very extensive with many floors and all different kinds of stores.
Seokchon Lake Park
After this, we went outside the mall to walk around the nearby lake. This lake overlooked the mall and the Lotte World Tower. We walked around the lake taking in the views and looking at the Lotte World Theme Park in the middle of one side of the lake. At one point of our walk, we managed to get some close-up photos of some geese which were standing by the side of the lake. The water on this side of the lake was frozen over.
After completing our lap of the lake, we headed back into the Lotte World Mall for some Korean hotpot dinner. The hotpot was big considering it only cost around $30. The hotpot was filled with Kimchi, noodles, and many kinds of meats. Most notably, the hotpot contained Spam, which appears to be popular in Korea. Even Angie has multiple tins of Spam in her house which was apparently a gift from her previous employer here in Korea.
Hyundai Shopping Mall
After dinner, we went to visit the Hyundai shopping mall. There was quite a large bookstore in there where we took some nice photos. The building was interesting with tall shelves but sadly all the books were in Korean. After walking around this mall, we returned home.
